Trackly

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Trackly (“Trackly”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Trackly mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices below.

1Information we collect

  • Account information — your name and email address when you create an account or sign in with Google or Apple.
  • Food & nutrition data — the meals you log, your calorie and nutrition goals, and the photos or text descriptions of food you submit.
  • Health & activity data — if you enable Apple Health, we read activity and energy data and write the nutrition you log (see Section 4).
  • Subscription information — your Trackly Pro purchase and subscription status. Payments are processed by Apple; we receive status through RevenueCat.
  • Diagnostic data — basic technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the App.

2How we use your information

  • Provide the core features: food logging, calorie and nutrition estimation, and goal tracking.
  • Analyze the food photos and descriptions you submit to estimate nutrition.
  • Sync nutrition and activity with Apple Health when you enable it.
  • Manage your account and subscription.
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the App.

3Food photos & AI processing

When you log food by photo or description, that content is sent to Google’s Gemini AI service to identify the food and estimate its nutrition. Google processes this content to return a result, subject to Google’s terms. We store the photos you submit in our secure storage so you can view your meal history; deleting a meal deletes its photo.

4Apple Health

If you grant permission, Trackly reads activity data (such as steps and active energy) and writes the nutrition you log to Apple Health. Health data is used only to power the App’s features, is never used for advertising, and is never shared with third parties.

5How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the App:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and secure storage/hosting.
  • Google (Gemini) — AI analysis of food photos and descriptions.
  • Apple & RevenueCat — processing and managing subscriptions.

6Data retention & deletion

We retain your information while your account is active. You may delete your meals and photos at any time in the App, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. Deleting your account removes your profile, logged meals, and stored photos.

7Security

We protect your information using encryption in transit, access controls, and a server-side architecture that keeps API keys off your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

8Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9International users

We operate from the United States, and your information may be processed there. By using the App, you consent to this processing.

10Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
